Agritechnica 2005 Exhibition, Hannover, November 8 to 12, 2005

TriMark Europe's Commitment to Employees Receives National Recognition

TriMark’s commitment to training and developing its employees, has been recognised by the recent awarding of the prestigious Investors in People (IIP) accreditation at it UK site.

The award is recognised nationally as a quality standard and is only received if the organisation can demonstrate good practice at improving the organisation’s performance, through it people.

The assessment process involved interviews with virtually all employees by a third party auditor, before going before the IIP Panel.

Keith Dolbear, Managing Director, said “We are delighted to receive the IIP award which recognises the investment in our growing business and the hard work and efforts put in by our people. This will allow us to continue to serve our customers better, which can only be good for all the stakeholders.”

Bauma China is an exhibition platform for construction machinery, earth-moving machinery, building material machinery and building site plant, construction equipment and tools, road and railway machinery as well as accessories and equipment. Scott Perkins, Senior Vice President of TriMark Corporation, officially opened TriMark Europe's brand new facility at Bardon Hill in the United Kingdom on February 5, 2004.

Representatives, ranging from the local community, suppliers, employees, shareholders and customers witnessed the event. Visitors travelled from around the UK and as far away as Sweden, Spain, Germany and USA to join the celebration.

In a welcoming address, Keith Dolbear, Managing Director of TriMark Europe said, “We are delighted to move to a facility we can be proud of and we are now well positioned to grow the business in-line with our Strategic Plan. We are working to set up a virtuous circle by serving our customers better. This will then be good for our suppliers and also our employees and in turn the community.”

In reply Scott Perkins commented that “TriMark is absolutely committed to growing the European business and this facility is an important step in this process”. “The access at Bardon Hill is so much better. You cannot compare it to the old place!” He went on to “Thank all the TriMark Europe team for their hard work and commitment”.

Trimark Europe, which relocated from South Wigston to Bardon, near Coalville, in August, won the small business category at the East Midlands regional Language for Export Awards.

At a presentation at Leicester's Walkers Stadium yesterday, TriMark Europe's managing director Keith Dolbear received the trophy from the Lord Lieutenant of Leicestershire, Lady Gretton.

The firm, a subsidiary of a US group, was one of six East Midlands winners who now go on to represent the region at a national award ceremony in Manchester on December 2.

TriMark sells and distributes components such as handles for the doors of heavy vehicles.

Its winning entry told how the firm used foreign students to research new markets, trained staff to hold business meetings in foreign languages, translated its literature, and developed its website in four languages.

Winning the award means the company has free consultancy from award sponsors Royal Bank of Scotland and the solicitors Nelsons.

Mr Dolbear said: "Winning bodes well for the business. Export is critical for us."

TriMark Europe has 11 workers at Bardon and mostly uses French and German. It has recently appointed a French woman.

Mr Dolbear said: "She speaks French, English and German. Employing a native French person gives us more than language skills, it also gives us cultural knowledge."

The awards were organised by UK Trade and Investment and the East Midlands Development Agency.

Peter Hogarth, UK Trade and Investment's international trade director in the East Midlands, said: "The small business category is the most hotly-contested category, but the judges felt there was a clear winner."

The awards were to have been presented by The Duke of York, who could not attend due to illness. His place was taken by Lady Gretton, who read out the Duke's speech.

She said: "If we are going to grow our business relations overseas, it is essential we break up the barriers to language. Research shows that at least 12 per cent of exporters have lost trading opportunities because of language or cultural difficulties."

• Product is available in single or two position rotary style latching functions, with several direct and remote release actuators

020-0800 Surface Mounted Pull Handle

TriMark engineers designed the NEW 020-0800 Surface Mounted Pull Handle specifically for off-highway vehicle applications that require a surface mounted exterior handle. This product allows greater ease of operation (ergonomics) than conventional push button or paddle handles and offers robust construction and rugged styling for a very cost effective price in a new handle category:

• Full gloved hand clearance
• Handle can be keyed alike with most single and reversible key systems
• Glass mounting with only 2 holes
• Handle is easy to install with (3) M6 X 1.0 bolts (not included)
• Gasket and spacers are available to facilitate mounting and provide resistance to water and dirt infiltration (sold separately).

060-0450 EZ Access Baggage Lock

This Baggage Door Lock was specifically designed for baggage and compartment doors for Recreational Vehicles including Motor Homes and Travel Trailers. It offers an improved plunger design and increased mechanical advantage for lower operating efforts with the same styling as Tri/Mark's proven 60-400 Baggage Lock. Other product details include:

• Handle can be keyed to match other TriMark RV door products with KeyOne Plus for a single-key system or provided non-locking.
• Housing flange and internal gaskets provided for resistance to water and dirt infiltration.
• Supplied painted in a low gloss black finish, the product can be easily painted over to match body colors.

040-0600 TriMount Push Button Handle Press Release

The 040-0600 TriMount Push Button Handle was specifically designed for Off-highway vehicle
applications that require a surface mounted exterior push button handle with 120mm or 163mm mounting pattern.
It is retrofitable with most European push button handles and offers robust construction, ergonomic function
and styling for a very cost effective price.

Other product features include:

• Universal mounting is available in 3 different mounting configurations: 2 bolt 120mm, 3 bolt 120mm and 2 bolt 163mm mounting.
• Available in a locked rigid or free-floating versions
• Handle can be keyed alike with most single and reversible key systems or non-locking configurations
• Glass mounting with only 2 holes

030-0550 Heavy Duty Pivoting Catch Compartment Latch

This latch was specifically designed for storage and compartment doors for off-road vehicles including agricultural and construction equipment and industrial enclosures. It has a high strength laminated hook and a heavy duty die-cast zinc paddle that provides a higher level of resistance to vibration and wear over the 030-0500 latch.

Other product details include:

• Pivoting catch design allows relative movement between the door and frame when the vehicle frame flexes
• Reverse paddle design of the latch is suited for top-hinged doors and provides resistance to insertion of foreign objects
• Supplied in a zinc plate, yellow chromate finish, the product can be easily painted over to match body colors
• Available in locking and non-locking versions, it offers the use of a padlock for increased security. The lock cylinder can be installed after the latch has been assembled into the door and painted for convenience
• Latch is easy to install with (4) 1/4" or 6mm pop-rivets or screws (sold separately), and fits the same cutout as the 030-0500 latch.

130-0100 Access Series Door Hold-Open

This product is designed for light to medium duty agricultural, construction personnel doors or any door that needs to be held in an open position. The simple rotating knob design allows for the door to be released from the open position from either the inside of the cab or from the ground level.

• Engineered to withstand vibration, shock, dust, dirt and moisture
• Engineered plastic withstands corrosion and UV exposer and has a lower coefficient of friction, reducing closing and operating efforts
• Two-stage lead in helps align the striker and receiver to compensate for door sag
• Easy to install
• Easily adaptable to a wide variety of door/cab configurations
• Flange mounting and gaskets (included) permits through glass mounting

TriMark has several high quality power door lock actuators available with a variety of features and configurations. The actuators have been tested and validated to meet stringent requirements thus insuring a long life of trouble free operation.
