Paul Burstow MP visits TriMark Europe's Sutton Facility
January 2012 - Keith Dolbear, Managing Director of TriMark Europe Ltd, welcomed Paul Burstow MP for Sutton and Cheam, Minister of State for Care Services, for a return visit to the facility at Sutton on 20th January 2012. Paul was accompanied by Michael Cumper and Maurice O'Connell from Kimpton Industrial Park Proprietors Association (KIPPA).
Keith took the opportunity to show Paul the various improvements on the site, since his last visit about 3 years ago. Mr Burstow was keen to learn more about the growth opportunities for TriMark.
As the USA parent Company, TriMark Corporation is a successful employee owned Company, there was a discussion on how this model could be encouraged in the UK. Mr Burstow commented "I was interested in how TriMark's parent company is employee owned. I explained how the Deputy Prime Minister, Nick Clegg, is keen to see more companies following the John Lewis Partnership model."
As well as running TriMark in Europe, Keith is also on the Management Council of the Construction Equipment Association (CEA) which is the UK trade association in this sector "We at the CEA are working hard to increase the awareness of politicians in the UK about the importance to the economy of construction equipment". The industry is worth more than GBP8.5M per annum, employs in excess of 50,000 people and over 75% of equipment is manufactured for export. This led to a detailed debate on what the Government could do to encourage further growth in the industry.
Keith concluded by thanking Paul for his interest in both TriMark and the rest of the construction equipment industry and looked forward to working together with him to promote this sector.
Paul added "It was good to catch up with Keith and his team at TriMark. Construction has a critical part to play in sustaining growth and employment. It's why the Government is investing heavily in infrastructure projects up and down the country".
Visit to TriMark Europe Ltd by Andrew Bridgen MP
July 2011 - Keith Dolbear, Managing Director of TriMark Europe Ltd, was delighted to welcome Andrew Bridgen MP, Member of Parliament for Leicestershire North West, to its Bardon Hill facility on 1 July 2011.
As well as running TriMark in Europe, Keith is also on the Management Council of the Construction Equipment Association (CEA) which is the UK trade association in this sector http://www.coneq.org.uk/ . "We at the CEA are working to increase the awareness of politicians in the UK about the importance to the economy of off highway vehicle manufacture. This is part of a strategy reflected across Europe by CECE, http://www.cece-eu.org/ ,which is the body that coordinated activities of construction equipment across Europe".
After touring the TriMark facility and meeting with employees, Mr Bridgen was eager to learn more about TriMark and how we fit into the supply chain of off-highway vehicles. He was interested in the growth opportunities for TriMark and other nearby manufacturers such as Caterpillar and JCB, which then led into a discussion of the industry in general.

- The UK is the world's second largest net exporter of construction equipment.
- The industry employs over 50,000 people in UK.

- Part of the UK's GBP114 billion construction industry.
The was a discussions on subjects such as the parallels of Mr Bridgen's background in the food processing industry and what Government can do to support growth in the manufacturing.
Keith Dolbear concluded by thanking Andrew for his interest in both TriMark and the rest of the construction equipment industry and looked forward to working together with him to promote this sector. Andrew Bridgen responded by adding "I was delighted to visit TriMark and see first hand the work and employment it provides for the constituency in its important role in the Construction sector."
TriMark Europe announces new European Sales Manager
June 2011 - TriMark Europe Ltd is pleased to announce that Tim Saxby has joined the company in the role of Sales Manager, responsible for the European market.Tim joins us from Faiveley Transport, a major supplier to the rail vehicle market, where he was responsible for Overhauls, Repairs and Spare Parts for major UK and Irish accounts. Previously he ran the Rail Division of Federal-Mogul Friction Products and has also been the Ford Group OE Sales Manager. He brings with him over 25 years' experience of sales into the automotive, rail and industrial markets throughout Europe, the US and developing markets in both Original Equipment and Aftermarket areas, managing direct sales teams and a range of agents and distributors.
Keith Dolbear, Managing Director, added "I am delighted that Tim has joined us and I know that he will be a great asset as we grow the business following the deep recession of 2008 and 2009 in many of our markets."

November 2010 - TriMark Corporation is delighted to announce the promotion of Kendra Knowlton to Director of Global Quality Assurance. She has a BA degree in Management from the University of Northern Iowa and has been employed by TriMark for 18 years and brings extensive experience of managing change across all areas of the corporation.
Her experience includes internal ISO auditor, implementing the document control portion of the ISO Quality standard, charter member of TriMark�s RISC (Rapid Improvement Superior Commitment) team, setting the direction and deploying Continuous Improvement efforts at TriMark. Kendra completed her Six Sigma Black Belt training in September of 2003 and received the Tiger Award for Outstanding Performance.� She has held this position for the past 7 years and is passionate about continuous improvement of TriMark�s business processes and systems.� In addition, she has led several process improvement project teams promoting the spirit of Lean, Kaizen and Six Sigma methods in both office and manufacturing environments.����
Kendra�s responsibilities include managing and leading TriMark�s Global Quality Team�s throughout the Corporation. This position plays a critical role in defining and leading the quality assurance strategy across all of TriMark�s manufacturing locations in the US, UK and China.
